Momostenango is in the north of Guatemala, where this cushion is made using raw wool on a hand loom. After the initial blanket is made, we use a traditional technique to brush it, creating a soft, mohair look. The back is finished in a heavy black canvas for added structure and a separate cotton liner is included to support and contain the cushion filling.
